Program Description:
The Student Success Grant provides financial assistance to students in support of their pursuit of academic success. The grant is available to students with senior standing, who are within one academic year of graduating after the completion of their fourth year at Lehigh. The grant is offered as a one time gift, covering up to $5,000 in tuition costs.
Program Goal:
To improve the 5 and 6-year graduation rates of our lower income students.
Eligibility Criteria:
- *Enrolled as a student at Lehigh during the Fall and/or Spring semesters
- Making satisfactory academic progress towards degree completion
- *Ability to complete remaining degree requirements within the academic year the grant is received
- Demonstrated financial need
- Senior standing
*Special exceptions may be considered
Participant Selection Process:
The Office of Student Retention works closely with the Office of Financial Aid, Registrar’s Office, and the undergraduate colleges to identify students who meet the eligibility criteria. Potential recipients are notified by the Office of Student Retention regarding their eligibility and the expectations for participation in the program.
